Privacy Policy

Creator City turns audience totals from accounts you choose to connect into a visual city. This policy explains what the beta stores and why.

Creator City is operated by Re-Peet Productions. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@mycreatorcity.com.

Information we store

We store your sign-in identity, city name, business name, content interests, posting goal, city preferences, connected provider account identifiers, provider-reported audience totals, sync history, and encrypted authorization tokens. We also store posts you record in Creator City and the ideas and researched questions you choose to save.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, keep each city separate, calculate city population and districts, restore your city across sessions, and refresh connected account totals.

Account sign-in

You can use an available sign-in method shown on the login page. Google and email sign-in use Supabase to verify your identity and manage secure sessions. For email accounts, Supabase stores the password securely; Creator City does not save it in its city database. Confirmation and password-reset emails are delivered through our authentication email provider, Resend. These messages do not subscribe you to marketing email. ChatGPT sign-in remains a separate option. Use your original sign-in method to return to an existing city; matching email addresses do not automatically combine accounts.

Beta updates and marketing email

If you separately choose to join the beta email list, we store your email address and the time you opted in. We may send that address to our ClickFunnels workspace to manage Creator City updates and invitations. Creating a city account does not by itself subscribe you to promotional email. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe option.

Connected services

A connection begins when you choose a provider and approve its connection screen or enter its API details. We use the access to find your account and read its audience total. We do not publish posts or ask you to enter a follower count manually.

Kit and Mailchimp may grant more access than Creator City uses. ActiveCampaign asks for an API URL and key, which also grant broader access. Creator City only reads the account details and counts needed to build your city. We do not send emails or edit contacts.

If you connect YouTube, Google grants Creator City read-only access to your YouTube account. We use it to identify your channel and read its title and subscriber count. We store the channel ID, title, reported count, last sync time, and encrypted authorization tokens so your city can display and refresh its YouTube district. We do not use Google user data for advertising or send it to ClickFunnels. You can disconnect YouTube in Connections at any time; we then request token revocation from Google and delete the saved connection and its audience count.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your Google account data to advertisers, email marketing tools, or other city owners. Our hosting and database provider, Cloudflare, processes the saved YouTube channel details and encrypted connection tokens only to run Creator City for you. We send a token to Google when we refresh your channel count or request that Google revoke the connection. We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the security of the service. We do not use Google account data to build advertising profiles or train AI models.

If you connect TikTok, Creator City reads your display name and follower count to identify your account and build its TikTok district. We store the account ID, display name, reported count, last sync time, and encrypted authorization tokens to refresh that total. We do not read your videos, publish to TikTok, or use this data for advertising. Disconnecting TikTok removes its saved data and requests token revocation.

Security and retention

The newspaper uses your chosen content interests to select public questions and research links. Public question results are cached by topic; they are not private messages from your followers. Saved questions are stored separately for your account with their source link and attribution. Google, Reddit, and AnswerThePublic research links open those services, which apply their own privacy policies.

Authorization tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-GCM before they are saved. The encryption key is kept in a private server setting, separate from the database. HTTPS protects data sent between your browser and Creator City. Account and city records are separated by the authenticated user ID, and connection requests check that ID before returning a city's data. We keep beta data while your account is active or as needed to operate and secure the service.

Cookies and device storage

The site uses authentication cookies to keep accounts signed in and a short-lived security cookie when connecting an outside account. These support requested features. The current site does not load advertising pixels or optional analytics cookies. If we add nonessential tracking, we will present a choice before enabling it where required.

Cookie settings reopens your current choice. Rejecting optional cookies does not affect your ability to use your city.

Privacy requests

To ask for access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal from the beta email list, contact support@mycreatorcity.com. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message. We will verify requests before changing account data.

Your choices

You can disconnect providers from Creator City or permanently delete your account and city from Settings. Creator City sends provider revocation requests where a documented endpoint is available, then removes its stored tokens and audience data. You can also revoke Creator City directly in each provider account. Choose “Download my city data” in Settings to download your stored city settings, connection summaries, audience history, recorded posts, and saved ideas as JSON. The download excludes authorization secrets and shared news and research caches. For marketing email preferences, use the unsubscribe link or contact support.
